Cochin - Munnar - (130 kms , 5hrs)

Today morning after breakfast check out and drive to Munnar.

Munnar was the summer resort of the British and now is one of the most popular hill stations in Kerala. Enjoy the stunning view of the Cardamom hills & greenery of the Tea plantations. Near Munnar town photostop at Attukad waterfalls & Pothamedu view point. On reaching Munnar visit Tata Tea

Museum : Tata Tea Museum is one of the significant sightseeing spots in Munnar. It is home to exclusive exhibits like traditional tea roller known as ‘Rotorvane’ used for processing of CTC tea; the biggest delight for tea lovers is the fascinating experience of plucking tea leaves and tasting different types of tea.

Today morning After Breakfast, take a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar, Covering

Eravikulam National Park : is located in the Kannan Devan hills of Munnar. The national park is famous for endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The Rajamalai region of the park is open to the public and from here; the exotic Nilgiri Tahr can be viewed. The Rajamalai region falls under the tourism zone of the area. The forest spread over an area of 97 sq km is divided into; core area, buffer area and tourism area. Core area and buffer area is not open to the public.

Entry fee : INR 125 per adult, INR 95 per child, INR 420 for foreign nationals

(Note : Eravikulam National Park will be closed from February to March every year for the two months due to the calving season of Nilgiri Tahr.)

1. Booking Amount: 30% of total package cost must be paid at the time of booking.

2. Second Installment: 40% payment is required 15 days before the departure date.

3. Final Payment: Remaining 30% must be paid 7 days prior to the journey.

4. Last-Minute Bookings: 100% payment is required for bookings made within 7 days of travel.

5. Payment Methods: We accept Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, and Wallets.

6. Confirmation: Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the initial payment.

7. Invoice: A detailed invoice will be shared via email after each successful payment.

FAQ's

Clothing: Light cotton clothes, sunscreen, and comfortable footwear.

Accessories: Hats, sunglasses, and umbrellas (especially during the monsoon)

  • Appam with Stew: Rice pancakes with vegetable or meat stew.
  • Puttu and Kadala Curry: Steamed rice cakes with spicy black chickpeas.
  • Seafood: Karimeen (Pearl Spot Fish), prawns, and crabs.
  • Sadya: A traditional vegetarian feast served on a banana leaf.
  • Banana chips and Kerala halwa: Popular snacks.
  • Sometimes there are uncertain strike of transport or vehicles, in such cases, whatever best possible decision required at that time will be taken by the agent.
  • AC will remain off on hilly drives
  • Night travelling or driving is not allowed
  • Please note: Please be patient because sometimes transportation can be late, and even be ready for some changes.
  • The drivers will not be able to guide you & give the detailed information about any place, His role is to follow the tour itinerary & take the clients to the places or sightseeing mentioned in the tour.
  • Attend a Kathakali performance in Kochi or Trivandrum.
  • Visit traditional markets for handicrafts and spices.
  • Participate in local festivals like Onam or Vishu.
  • Explore the backwaters for an authentic Kerala village experience.
  • 3 to 4 hours village visit with traditional local lunch, country boat ride, local handicrafts making tour, product making from coit
  • Tree house : They are usually located far from reception area, its quite raw and rustic with basic amenities. No luxurious interiors. Insects, lizards dampness might be bothersome. Room & bathroom is not spacious
  • House boats : There are 3 types of houseboats, Dlx with 12 hrs AC facility in rooms only, Premium category has 24 hrs AC facility in rooms only and Luxury houseboats are fully glass covered and 24 hrs AC facility in the entire houseboat
  • Insects, Lizards, Smell of water is bothersome, that can be avoided if one opts for luxury houseboat. We recommend only luxury houseboat if one wants to experience some unique stay option.
  • Many hotels in Munnar and Thekkady do not have AC in rooms and Elevator in the hotel.
  • Hotel Rooms in Kumarakom and Alleppey and Kovalam are usually little raw looking and damp because of water bodies around the resort and wooden built up.
  • There might be some walk uphill to reach to certain hotels in hill station.
